Your kindness, compassion and genuine care meant more to me than words can fully express. You always took the time to listen, reassure me, and make me feel like more than just another patient. During a very difficult period, your warmth and professionalism made a real difference to my life. The NHS and its patients are incredibly lucky to have such a kind, caring and dedicated nurse. We missed you at the clinic last Friday for my final injection. I just want to thank you again with all my heart for giving us the reassurance and support we needed from day one, to help get us through this battle. Your kind, happy and positive attitude had a massive positive impact. You're a real life angel in my book.

Last Friday was my final session for my cancer treatment. I came by your department to say hi but you'd already left for the day. I want to say a huge thank you to you personally for saving my life with your precision radiation therapy. Your clear instructions and expert guidance were invaluable and I'll never forget it. Your kind, funny and positive attitude was also priceless. I'm forever in your debt as I continue living my best life. All the best for the future.

I'd like to thank you for being so kind and thoughtful to our son during his time at the hospital. You would go out of your way to make him feel as comfortable as possible. He would usually hate it when nurses came in because he worried about his observations, but you managed to make him feel completely at ease. Thank you for making him feel so content and happy — and for making me and his dad feel so comfortable too, having a laugh with us when we needed it most. We appreciate all your hard work.

I would like to say thank you for your support during my placement in the Outpatients Department. You were an approachable and encouraging mentor who made me feel welcome from the beginning. You took the time to explain things clearly and supported me to develop my confidence in practice. I learned so much from you — especially about communicating with patients and colleagues, working in a busy outpatient environment, and how the team works together to provide safe care. You were always patient, willing to answer my questions, and gave helpful feedback. Thank you for creating such a positive learning environment.

Thank you for being so amazing. You treated me with so much care, respect and compassion at a very difficult and traumatic time for me and my husband. You were so kind and nothing was too much to ask — holding my hand while I was being examined, helping me get cleaned up and changed afterwards, all done with the utmost compassion and reassurance. It made all the difference when I was writhing in pain. You are a wonderful human being and you are just amazing at what you do. The NHS is great because of people like you.

I always believe that God sends angels, and he has sent me an incredibly beautiful one, with a heart of gold and so much patience. You were fantastic to me during my stay — every time you walked in I felt at ease. You always explained everything to me and kept my family updated, which is so hard to find these days.
